Summary - Malibu's Most Wanted (2003)
Malibu’s Most Wanted movie moves around a character performed by Jamie Kennedy in his WB reality series, “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment,” it is simple to see how Malibu’s Most Wanted could have been a clever and crazy satire on competition interaction. Unfortunately, it maintains the accident of being launched after Bringing Down the House and Head of State, two excellent comedies that touched base on accurately the same topic. When held up next two these effective, albeit slight, images, Malibu’s Most Wanteddrops smooth. There is basically not enough comedian strength to hold even its brief 80-minute running time, and the directed by John Whitesell is veritably shaky, at best. Since the age of three, 21-year-old Brad Gluckman (Jamie Kennedy) has been an embarrassment to his politician dad, Bill (Ryan O’Neal). With Bill’s election arriving up, he and his campaign staff (Blair Underwood, Kellie Martin) decide to choose two stars, Sean (Taye Diggs) and P.J. (Anthony Anderson), to level Brad’s kidnapping, and then take him on a trip of the actual hood in Compton to scare the ghetto out of him. Having never actually evolved in the neighborhood themselves, the guarded Sean and P.J. enlist the aid of P.J.’s wonderful relative, ambitious hair stylist Shondra (Regina Hall), to help out in their attempt.
