The third adventure of Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban being considered by many as the best of the popular series, the film adaptation of it was expected with certain impatience, especially as a new Director was at the helm of the project following the rather controversial reign of Chris Columbus. Regardless of what some say, the first two films in the series were far from being bad. However, the series really took off with this third realized part of manner inspired by Alfonso Cuaron. With its aesthetic more dark and worked, better developed characters and a pace much more dynamic than that of its predecessors, the new Potter is a high-quality summer entertainment that will appeal as much to the admirers of the young Wizard as the public looking for thrills.
Cuaron of directing vision is much more realistic than what was Columbus. With its Gothic-inspired architecture, this new version of the Magic School is also dark and mysterious, the image of this third film. Visually, Cuaron offers a more refined than its predecessor film. His achievement is fluid and has the personal touch. The passage of the seasons is particularly inspired presented and scenes in winter are of great beauty. The special effects, on the other hand, are spotless and integrate perfectly with the rest of the production. The set of young actors won in subtlety. David Thewlis and Gary Oldman are both excellent additions to the distribution of the series.
